MEET OUR FOUNDER

Mr. Read is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of North American Lubricants Corporation (NALC), a passenger car motor oil manufacturer and reseller in 48 states. NALC provides PCMO’s to both the private and government sector. The Company was founded in 2000.

Mr. Read is also Chairman and CEO of True Shot Gun Company, Arizona’s largest retailer of ammunition, founded in 2015.

Mr. Read started his career in the Insurance Business in 1969, Founding IRI Marketing where he was President and Chairman of the Board until it’s sale in 1982.

Prior to starting North American Lubricants Corporation, Mr. Read was asked to take over a Chief Management Position as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Presidential Life Insurance Company, a publicly traded company in Nyack, New York. He was instrumental in it’s sale in 2009.

In 1986 Mr. Read Founded Oil Changer Inc., one of the largest independently owned quick lube chains in the United States. He remained as Chairman and CEO until it’s sale in 2018. Oil Changers serviced over 15,000,000 automobiles. Oil Changers is an Inc. 500 company, selected as the 20th fastest growing company in America over a 5 year period.

Mr. Read, a collector of automobiles, founded Rhodium45 after searching for storage facilities for his own collection. He wanted to build a “Man Cave” (or “Woman Cave”) where car people could find affordable storage facilities in a climate controlled environment, safe from the elements, where they could meet, relax, and discuss their cars.
